Grand opening & my new artwork at Papel New York, Brooklyn

Hello!

Thank you so much for making the opening of Papel such a special night. The outcome was a huge success and more than Raegan and I could have ever hoped for - you all are the best!

I also wanted to remind you that all the original framed pieces, and the corresponding cards, are for sale and will be on display for the next month. Bring your friends and come check them out!

If you have any questions or want an original, personalized painting or card created just for you, please contact me directly at soosan@soosanjoon.com.

Thanks again for an amazing start to 2010!

Much Love,
Soosan

Parque Cultural Ex-Cárcel, Valparaíso, Chile

Ex-Cárcel ("ex-prison") is one of the most memorable moments of my trip to Valparaíso. Murals designed by ex-inmates and street artists were splashed all over the city. The most intriguing part of these colorful walls were the dark illustrations and inspirational quotes, juxtaposed with humor.
